Our latest SSL artist for Central America is a renowned guitarist from Guatemala Felipe Guzmán. The freshest new face and top performer within the Christian circles as well as a great instructor with many lessons for all. He is now recording with an SSL 2+ interface.
About US
SSI founder Chris Adams has dedicated a lifetime to the music industry. Born in Uruguay of European heritage, Chris was raised in New York City and was signed to RCA Records at the age of 19 as a self-produced Recording Artist under the name “fingers”.
As owner of a commercial recording studio, “fingers” Sound Studios, Chris recognized the lack of information and new product availability in Latin-America in the early 90s, prompting manufacturer representation. This led to the creation of a trade show company, Studio Sound International and brought to Spanish speaking Latin-America the first ever pro audio expo. Chris dedicated the next six years to bringing the marketplace up to speed while educating it with our industry’s top products, engineers, designers, etc.
Expanding on this mission, Chris established a Latino Portal AML Audio Músico Latino, which led to publishing EQ en Español for United Business Media.
In the early 2000’s and for six and a half years, Chris established a vital international presence for M-Audio where he grew the company’s sales five-fold and held the highest YOY (year-over-year) sales growth consistently for each of the last six years.
